Los Jardines

A retirement residence with mature planting that had outgrown its original irrigation. The owners had inherited the system from the developer and watched their water bill creep upward each dry season.

We re-zoned the property into thirteen circuits matched to plant water demand, replaced the original spray heads with MP rotators where appropriate, and installed a Hunter ICC2 controller with weather override. The plant palette was edited — heat-stressed crotons removed, replaced with sun-tolerant heliconia, ti plants, and a bougainvillea espalier on the west wall.

Water consumption is down 38% year-over-year. The garden has not looked better.
