Villa del Pacífico

A new build on a steep hillside lot with a Pacific horizon. The brief was a 14-meter infinity edge, a connected plunge spa, and a planting plan that would frame — not compete with — the view.

The pool was specified end-to-end for the conditions: shotcrete shell with double rebar, glass tile rated for UV and salt, a Pentair variable-speed pump on the main loop, salt chlorination with a redundant tab feeder, and a perimeter overflow gutter detailed for silence at night.

The planting kept to a tight palette — ornamental palms, native bromeliads, a long bougainvillea hedge that softens the property line. Two seasons in, the pool runs at the same chemistry it left commissioning with.
